PP film or phenolic film?
PP (plastic) film plywood has a thicker plastic face and is chosen when you want the most reuses from each sheet. Phenolic film plywood (brown or black) is the classic formwork sheet and is usually the more economical choice. Both give a smooth, fair-faced concrete finish.
Where it is used
- Slab formwork on H20 beams or props
- Wall and column formwork
- Fair-faced concrete where the finish will be seen
- Any job where sheets will be reused across several pours
